Recreational Softball
LYBSA offers recreational softball programs from 8U machine pitch through 14U softball. Younger divisions typically play all games at LYBSA while older divisions play in the Sun Coast Softball league with other local community organizations. We look forward to having you join us this season!
Ages
Eligible players are at least 7 years old on August 31st 2025 and up to 14 years old on August 31st 2025.

When
Season starts in early April and wraps up mid June
Where
LYBSA Fields at Kohn Sports Complex
Note: Older age groups playing in the Lake Effect Baseball League will play some away games at other facilities.
Practices
Practices start in early April. Games will start in early May.
Games
Teams will play 10 - 12 games per season, usually 2 to 3 games per week.
Jerseys
Shirts and socks (sometimes visors) will be issued through LYBSA. Please indicate your players correct shirt size when registering.
