Baseball league age is based on April 30th. Whatever age the player is on April 30th is their league age for that year.
LYBSA Recreational Baseball Age Divisions
8U Machine Pitch (7 & 8 year olds)
10U Live Pitch (9 & 10 year olds)
12U Live Pitch (11 & 12 year olds)
Pony Division (13 & 14 year olds)
Softball Team Ages
Softball league age is the age as of Dec 31st. Whatever age the player is on Dec 31st is their league age for that year.

10U Machine/Live Pitch (9 & 10 year olds)
12U Live Pitch (11 & 12 year olds)
14U Live Pitch (13 & 14 year olds)
Tee Ball and 4 Year Old Developmental Team Ages
Tee Ball Division (5 & 6 year old boys and girls)
Eligible Boys and Girls are at least 5 years old as of May 1st of the current year for Tee Ball.
4 Year Old Developmental Division
For our 4 Year Old Developmental Program, players must be 4 years old as of May 1st of the current year.
